The Bison rear mount FlexCourt rim is designed for outdoor playgrounds or indoor courts with rear mount fan-shaped steel backboards.  This rim has a breakaway mechanism that absorbs stress from aggressive action around the rim and helps protect vulnerable steel backboards from damage.
